Horrifying footage has been shared online showing the moment a four-foot snake was pulled from a woman's throat.
According to report, a serpent crawled inside an unnamed woman who was sleeping in the yard of her home in Levashi village in Dagestan.
Moment later she feel unwell, then she was rushed to hospital where she placed under general anaesthetic.
In a shocking footage shows a young patient lying on a table while a male doctor is removing a snake after inserting a tube down on her throat.
One of the doctor can be heard off camera saying: 'Let's see what this is'.
Then a female assistance hold the snake as it was pulled out, and scream before she put into a bucket.
It is unclear if the snake is still alive or how long it was inside the woman.
The Ministry of Health in Dagestan, a mountainous republic bordering the Caspian Sea, have said they are investigating the video.
