MANILA, Philippines – The Department of Science and Technology-Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) is scheduled to announce the official list of qualifiers for the 2025 Science and Technology Undergraduate Scholarships on Monday, June 30, 2025. In a Facebook post on Wednesday, June 25, DOST-SEI shared a video teaser captioned, “The wait is over… soon,” revealing the much-anticipated release date.
A total of 95,654 high school students took the DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship Examination on April 5 and 6, 2025, across 215 testing centers nationwide. Qualifiers will receive notices of award, while potential qualifiers will be advised on the requirements they must resubmit. Students and their parents or legal guardians will also be invited to attend an orientation on scholarship policies and procedures.
To avail of the scholarship, qualifiers must enroll in a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree program in any of the priority S&T fields at a state university or college, or at a private higher education institution recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) as a Center of Excellence, Center of Development, or with Level III accreditation from the Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines. The list of priority S&T programs is available on the DOST-SEI website.
