When Bettinna Carlos' boyfriend and now husband Mikki Eduardo proposed to her, he also took Bettinnas' 9-year-old daughter into account.
Doting boyfriend Mikki, knew marrying Bettinna was part of a package deal with her daughter. So he decided to propose to both of them. After receiving a big 'Yes' from Bettinna, he then proposed to Gummy, asking if she wanted to be her father. Thankfully, she said yes.
In an Instagram post of Friday, Bettinna shared a photo of a sweet gesture from her husband who got down on one knee while putting the ring on her finger.
"He asked her of (if) she will allow him to be her father and raise her up to the fear and knowledge of the Lord. To which she said YES!❤," Bettinna said.
"This was an answered secret prayer for me. One I never told anyone but the Lord. One I asked from Him twice.
"I asked God to confirm that if Mikki really is His best for us that he would give Gummy a ring too. After all he is not just marrying me but her as well," she continued.
Meanwhile, in a separate Instagram post from Mikki he admitted to being more nervous when he asked Gummy to accept him as her father, saying, "I was more nervous proposing to Gummy than when I was with Bettinna," he said.
He also gave Gummy a ring identical to Bettina.
Bettina and Mikki tied the knot on December 1.
