This Police in traditional Igorot costume is Baguio City's tourists frontline

 The traditional Cordilleran costume was introduced to Baguio City tourists police to keep the summer capital of the Philippines' safe and bring back the tradition alive this yuletide season.

There main job is to ensure and keep Baguio visitors feel more secured. The one of a kind tourist police in the country is an additional welcome sight that you might encounter if you plan to visit Baguio.





Facebook page Alpha Bravo Apparel posted a photos of armed police officers on duty wearing their 'bahag' undergarment matched with their usual blue uniform tops while patrolling in the city.

Apart from the tourism police, Baguio City has been setting up security cameras and other surveillance technology around the Metro to help its command center manage traffic and to respond to emergencies efficiently. The city is also equipped with artificial intelligence system that would have facial recognition.


The Kalinga Warriors at Lubuagan mountain province, North of the Philippines was pictured with there traditional attire. 



Baguio City is one of the known tourist destinations in the country with thousands of tourists flock to experience the cool weather.
