Duterte vows justice to slain OFW receptionist in Abu Dhabi

 Mary Anne Daynolo, 30, an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) who was reported missing for 10 months was found dead in January, according to labor secretary Silvestre Bello. In response to the horrifying incident, President  Rodrigo Duterte has vowed justice will be served for the death of Daynolo in Abu Dhabi, report says.





Daynolo's body have already been repatriated, January 30, 2021, Bello said. The remains they found in January are already in "advanced stage of decomposition," Bello added.





The Abu Dhabi police has arrested the suspect who is a Ugandan national identified as "Paul" who admitted the crime. Two others were at large who helped him bury the body of Daynolo, but authorities have yet to identify them.






Daynolo's family had requested the National Bureau of Investigation to conduct autopsy on the remains.





The labor chief also said that they will shoulder all the expenses including the burial and extend financial assistance to Daynolo's family.
