Ronnie Liang says scammer empty his GCash, 'Nagtira pa ng P8.97'

 Scammers are everywhere - in fact, many of them might have even come for you. Singer Ronnie Liang recently took to his social media account to warn the public about how he became a victim of online fraud that wipe out thousands of pesos in his e-wallet.

In his Facebook post on March 25, Liang posted a screenshot of a series of text conversation he had with someone pretending to be his GCash agent.

"BEWARE: Sharing with you the conversation I had with someone who pretended to be a Gcash Agent. The scammer was able to hack my gcash & took away thousands from my Gcash account. (nagtira pa ng 8.97 pesos)," he said.

"Sharing this to raise awareness of how these online scams are so rampant and how vulnerable the system is. Please share this post to spread information and to serve as warning to all the gcash users," he added.
