Many people visited the Manila Bay or the so-called dolomite beach as it was reopened to the public on the first day of implementation of alert level 3 on Saturday, October 16.
The beach is now open daily between 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. Minimum health protocols such as face mask, face shield and social distancing will be observed while enjoying the Instagrammable view of the Manila bay.
Police and marshals from the Department of Natural Resources were deployed in the are to remind visitors of the health protocols.
Around 300 to 500 visitors at a time are allowed to enter the beach area for as long as they want.
No food and drinks will be allowed and children will be allowed inside in accordance with Inter-Agency Task Force rules.
