Manny Pacquiao to tap Allen Iverson for his team in a charity basketball match with Floyd Mayweather

 Manny Pacquiao is set to rematch Floyd Mayweather in Las Vegas on December, and this time, for a basketball  court charity match. 




And according to The Manila Times, it appears that the NBA legend Allen Iverson is Pacquiao's personal choice to join his team.




Iverson, 46, is a former NBA Most Valuable Player and member of the league's greatest 75 players. The outlet added that the NBA veteran has since preselected to the Filipino champ's team.




Mayweather, meanwhile, has also his preselected NBA veteran for his team which presumed the game to take place in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena or at the T-Mobile Arena.




"We agree on the main concept of the even, which is to bring total entertainment to the fans of boxing, basketball, and all sports in general, and to create a project that will solidify our legacies to the fans," Pacquiao-Mayweather All-Star Basketball Charity statement read.




The date and venue of the event has yet to be finalized. The charity game aim to generate funds for the chosen charities in time for Christmas.



Mayweather beat the Filipino champ in 2015 on points, in the most profitable fight of all time, selling a whopping 4.6 million pay-per-views.
