FRANKIE PANGILINAN JOINS RALLY AT COMELEC AMID PARTIAL ELECTION RESULT

Frankie Pangilinan joined hundreds of protesters assembled near the main office of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) in Intramuros on Tuesday, as the partial counting for the May 9, 2022 election continues.

In a series of tweets, Pangilinan says "I may never understand how things came to be but i will never forget the very distinct brand of love this election bred in each and every single one of our hearts."

The emotional daughter of Sen. Kiko Pangilinan declared that "work does not end here," regardless of the official election result.

"My emotional range has been and continues to be tested to extreme lengths but if one thing is certain, it is that everything has changed. i feel it bone-deep, i’m sure you do too. and regardless of results—the work does not end here," she added.

Groups like Gabriela, Selda, Piston, Kabataan Party-list, Anakpawis, and Kilusang Mayo Uno converged to protect the alleged unpreparedness of the Comelec in the conduct of the May 2022 poll.

Pangilinan also tweeted past midnight on Tuesday saying, "I will marh, and I hope to see you there."

"Bongbong' is not the name they will print on Malacanang stationery and if that doesn't unsettle you, it should," she posted.

Bongbong Marcos Jr. lead the partial, unofficial counting in the presidential elections.
