ALYSSA VALDEZ ADMITTED TO HOSPITAL AFTER SUFFERED FROM DEADLY DENGUE

 Alyssa Valdez is now on the road to full recovery after she was been hit with dengue. 



On her Instagram post, Alyssa narrated her condition since she first new that she was tested positive of dengue. She wasn't able to play in the Asian Volleyball Confederation Cup for Women because of her illness.





"The first few days were so bad — Had a high fever, body pain, and headache. I Wasnt able to eat and drink anything. After 6 days, thankfully my fever went down, but my platelet count continued to drop dangerously to 37," she said.



"I then experienced some complications like bleeding and a swollen liver. It was at this point that my doctors decided to admit me in the hospital with some intial discussions of a blood transfusion," she added.



Alyssa said that she's waiting for the good final lab result before she can get green light to go home.



"My first few hours in the hospital was very crucial. Waited for all the lab results and thankfully my doctors decided not to push through with the transfusion. Thank God everything slowly got better! I’ll also have my last few lab test soon too."




She assured fans that she's getting better now and 'on the road to a full recovery'.
