Social media has become sultry for fans of one of the popular K-pop groups, super junior to the insensitive content of the noontime show TROPANG LOL.
One question sparked during the noontime show’s game segment was about which K-pop group canceled their concert after the passing of a member’s father.
“Sa concert scene sa Pilipinas, aling K-pop group ang nag-cancel ng show sa Pilipinas recently dahil ang tatay ng isa sa members ay pumanaw?” Alex Gonzaga asked the guest comedian Pooh.
The options include Super Junior, Seventeen, GOT7, and SHINee, all popular Korean boy band groups.
Lately, the father of Super Junior member Lee Hyuk Jae known as Eunhyuk, passed away which is why he was not included in the world tour of the boy band here in the Philippines.
Filipino K-Pop fans are disappointed with Tropang LOL. The show did not even apologize to the public.
Such insensitive content has reached SBS news.
According to SBS news, the fans of the K-Pop group requested that the noontime show asks for a dispensation, but this did not happen.
It can be remembered that recently the 'Tropang Lol' also became trending because of what happened in one of the segments where Matteo Guidicelli calls out for Alex.
