LEBRON JAMES SIGNS $97M TWO YEAR EXTENSION WITH LAKERS

Lebron James has agreed on a two-year extension with Los Angeles Lakers at a whopping $97.1 million contract.

According to reports, the deal would include a player option for the 2024/25 season. That said, rumors started to circulate James could see his 17-year-old son Bronny to become an NBA rookie.

Lebron could become the highest earning player in NBA history with $532M in guaranteed money, surpassing Brooklyn's Kevin Durant, according to Wojnarowski.

James, 37, said he wants to play through the 2024/25 season alongside his eldest son, a top high school prospect in Los Angeles.

The Lakers won their most recent NBA title in 2020 but missed to enter the playoffs last season.
