In the first pictorials of the winners and runners-up of Bb. Pilipinas 2022, Bb. Pilipinas International 2022 Nicole Borromeo and Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental 2022 Gabby Basiano clarified that there is nothing wrong with the title they won
This
follows after many speculation after the delayed announcement of Borromeo's
victory.
“There
was just something misunderstanding, a confusion. So, I would like to tell
everybody then especially those part of the competition that it just had
confusion. And those titles are really won by Nicole who is Miss International
and I am Ms. Intercontinental”, Gabby Basiano said.
Nicole
Borromeo said, “I trust in the Binibini work. They wouldn't put their girls in
this kind of situation and they would be sure to clear things out as soon as
possible”.
The
host of the pageant Ms. Universe 2018, Catriona Gray has cleared the issue and
the auditor of Bb. Pilipinas SGV & Co. that they read the official envelope
correctly before they declared the results of the pageant.
