A 59-year-old veteran actress Cherrie Gil has passed away. Her friend, Annabelle Rama, confirmed this. On Annabelle's Instagram, she posted, "Cherie Gil just passed away at 5pm today please pray for her ".
Cherie Gil is reportedly dies of cancer and she received treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
In February, Cherrie Gil even announced that she had left the Philippines to live in America. While living in New York, she was spotted getting bald.
Cherie Gil made a bold statement when she debuted her shaved head on the cover of Mega Magazine's 30th-anniversary issue last February.
