VICKI BELO REVEALS SHE HAS BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH STAGE 3 CANCER AND TOLD BY HER DOCTOR THAT SHE HAD TWO YEARS TO LIVE

 Vicki Belo announced that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016 that she kept secret over the years.



The celebrity cosmetic surgeon shared her experienced with broadcaster Korina Sanchez on "Korina Interviews". She said that her doctor told her she had two years to live when she sought treatment in Europe.



"I was diagnosed, I think, January of the year. And then I went to Europe and I was told by them there that I was going to die. Don't bother to have chemo (the doctor said). Just fix your affairs, you're dead in two years," she told Korina.





She even went to New York Presbyterian to know her chances but doctors were likewise uncertain if she would survive.



"I went to New York and they wouldn't give me anything. I said, 'So what are my chances?' They were very quite. (They said) We'll try our best."


Belo, described herself "completely bald" when she was undergoing chemotheraphy, the time her daughter Cristalle's wedding and her mom has died.



"You know when you have your chemo, you're green, you're basically green, you look so sick," she continued.


Little did the people know that during her interview with CNN two days after receiving chemotheraphy, "(my) hair was falling on the fall." Added that she could not concentrate during the interview. The hosts asked her about her plans which she could not answer.



"If you have cancer kasi wala kang plans, you just want to get well."



Belo said what keeps her fighting is her daughter, Scarlet.



"I really look at her, and I want to be with her, and I don't want to leave her naman so young," said the celebrity doctor.



"I keep praying, Lord, 'please give me time," she added.



Belo ended her interview with self reflection, "Nakikita niyo yung Instagram, akala niyo yung life namin perfect. Wala talagang perfect na buhay. Lagi niyong hanapin yung ganda sa buhay niyo. Health is wealth, so now that's really my thing."
