This aligns with Rodrigo's broader commitment to the cause. The Hollywood Reporter noted that a portion of her tour proceeds goes to the National Network of Abortion Funds and her own initiative, Fund 4 Good, which champions reproductive health freedom for all.
This activism is especially significant in Missouri, where abortion is now illegal following the overturning of Roe v. Wade in 2022. NBC News clarifies that the procedure is only allowed "to save the life of the pregnant person."
In fact, this isn't Rodrigo's first act of defiance. In 2022, she performed "F—k You" with Lily Allen at Glastonbury, dedicating it to the justices who voted to overturn Roe v. Wade. She expressed her outrage at the decision, stating her fear for women and girls, and calling out the justices by name.
The Guts World Tour is Rodrigo's second, following her 2021 Sour Tour. It features songs from her latest album, Guts, and runs from February 23rd to August 17th, concluding in Inglewood, California.
