Sa Pwesto ni Pistong (The Barber's Chair), a heartwarming tale set against a tumultuous era, took home three major awards at the inaugural Bacolod Film Festival (BFF). The film, written and directed by Vincent Joseph Entuna, was recognized for its Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Screenplay.
The four-day event held from September 12 to 15, showcased 10 short films under the theme "Stories with Smile." Organized by the city government with support from the Department of Trade and Industry and the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), the festival aimed to promote local filmmaking talent.

The members of the jury were Philip Cheah, Lawrence Fajardo, Wanggo Gallaga, Atty. Josabeth Alonso, and Film Development Council of the Philippines Chairperson Jose Javier Reyes.
