Pudding, a five-year-old dog from South Korea, is searching for a loving home after tragically losing his entire family in the recent Jeju Air crash. The canine's family of nine were among the passengers on Jeju Air flight 7C2216, which veered off the runway upon landing at Muan International Airport on December 29th.

According to Coexistence of Animal Rights on Earth (Care Korea), the family had traveled to Thailand to celebrate a birthday and tragically never returned. Pudding was left alone in their empty house, reportedly watching cars and waiting for his loved ones to come home.

"Pudding would stare at every car that drove into town, and the locals would feed him out of sympathy for the loss of his family," Care Korea shared on social media. Concerned for his safety and well-being, the animal rights group stepped in to rescue Pudding.

When they found him, Pudding's health was a concern. He had been scavenging for food and had ingested chicken bones and onions, both of which are hazardous to dogs.  He is now receiving care and recovering at a Seoul veterinary hospital.

This heartbreaking story has touched many, and Care Korea is actively seeking a "suitable guardian" for Pudding. They hope to find a new home where he can receive the love and care he deserves after such a devastating loss.

The incident highlights the profound impact that accidents and tragedies can have, not just on human lives, but also on the animals who depend on us.  Pudding's story serves as a reminder of the importance of compassion and finding ways to help those in need, even our four-legged friends.
