About 350 million USD investment
from Disney land Philippines has been finalized on February 29, 2016. Yes! You read
it right, Filipinos need not to go to other countries to visit Disneyland
anymore. Two years after The Walt Disney Company chairman Andy Bird announced
on Friday.
Report said, Vice President for global public
policy Jim Flippatos said Disney finds the Philippines as a great location for
entertainment and amusement goers.
According to rumors, Disney big
bosses will visit the country to shop for a great location.
It was announced earlier in one
of the company’s press releases that possible locations includes Batangas,
Laguna, Bulacan and Pampanga.
The company is needing at least
125 acres (50 hectares) of land to house the Disney Philippines.
The company clarified that the
plan was decided two years ago, contrary to report that Pres. Aquino whom convinced
the company.
This is a great news to all Filipinos,
Disney could provide at least twelve thousand local jobs if finalized.
The target
is to open by summer of 2018.
