The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) confirmed the arrest of one of the suspected party drugs sellers at the Close Up Forever Summer concert in Pasay City.
Manila Bulliten report said, NBI-Anti-Illegal Drugs Division chief Atty. Joel Tovera said Joshua Habalo, 23, was arrested in an entrapment operation at the Remington Hotel in pasay City around 2.AM by the NBI and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency(PDEA).
Tovera disclosed that they received a tip from an anonymous informant that Habalo organized an event at the said hotel. After confirming, the NBI made a VIP reservation through SMS which led to the arrest of the suspect.
Seized from the suspect were the marked money, two transparent sachets containing five pink ecstasy tablets each, a transparent sachet of three green capsules suspected to be green amore,and five transparent sachets of suspected cocaine.
They also discovered from Habalo's cellphone his personal video of the Close Up Forever Summer concert.
Five concertgoers were confirmed died in a Close Up Summer Concert last week in Pasay City.
