Experience Danjugan Island in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental - July 28, 2017

A team of divers, photographers and scientists set out on a thrilling ocean adventure to reveal underwater mysteries in Chasing Coral. As part of the film's impact campaign, we are hosting a free public screening in Bacolod City, Philippines, on Friday, 28 July 2017, 6PM at the House of Frida. A discussion with marine biologists and conservationists of DEEP: Danjugan Island Environmental Education Program will follow after the film. Credit to Exposure Labs for the screening license granted to the Philippine Reef and Rainforest Conservation Foundation Inc.

Recently DEEP Mentors at the 26th Annual Philippine Biodiversity Symposium, organized by the Biodiversity Conservation Society of the Philippines, July 18-22, 2017 at the Ateneo de Manila University. From L-R, our PRRCFI-DEEP family at the event: Former Education Officer Hermz Gacho (who is now taking his Masters of Science in Natural Resources Conservation), current Science Education Officer Kim Casipe, and former Project Scientist Mark dela Paz. These three mentors represent different phases of DEEP, and continue to further conservation education in Negros Island Region. #goDEEP
