He is originally born a woman, but Trystan decided to take hormones for a decade, but stopped after learning that he was pregnant.
"I'm OK with my body being a trans body. I'm OK being a man who has a uterus and has the capacity and capability of carrying a baby. I don't feel like it makes me any less of a man. I just happen to be a man who is able to carry a baby," he said in an interview with CNN.
For Trystan and his boyfriend Biff Chaplow, the birth of Leo is a relief after very difficult moments since he confessed to having a miscarriage.
"The moment he was born was just like a pure moment of bliss, like the happiest moment of my life," Chaplow said via Fox8.
