The Japanese comedian Piko Taro who rose to international fame with his viral hit song "Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen," announced has tied the knot with his model girlfriend Hitomi Yasueda.
The 44-year-old, whose real name is Kazuhito Kosaka, and the 29-year-old Yasueda filed for marriage on Thursday, he said on his blog. People might think that the said relationship is because of Piko Taro popularity and recent success, but the truth is the couple had been actually dating for four years before tying the knot, long before PPAP became viral.
The two became acquainted through work and had been seeing each other since 2013, according to his office.
