DFA ends 1200 passport appointment reserved slots for travel agencies daily, to go through normal process

Manila, Philippines - Finally these will resolved problems on delay of passport processing. The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) announced Monday that it has removed 1,200 passport appointment slots that used be reserved daily for travel agencies.


The DFA said these slots will now be given to regular applicants.

Ricarte B. Abejuela III, acting director of the Passport Division of the Office of Consular Affairs, said that under the new system, clients of the travel agencies will now need to go through the normal process for getting passport appointments.
