Bonaobra tearfully pleaded to give her another chance when the judges decided not to let her through to the next round. Alisah refused to leave the stage and asked Nicole Scherzinger for another chance.
For the second chance given to her, Alisah gave all her best and she did it. The Filipina singer did not disappoint the judges and the audiences as she came out on stage to perform a solo number.
She sing "Defying Gravity" from the musical "Wicked" that definitely impressed the judges.
After her stirring performance, the judges decided Alisah to move it to the Six Chair Challenge.
But, Twitter flooded with mixed reactions to Alisah's performance:
#XFactor Alisah is good and all, but not really fair that she begged and burst into song and got a second chance— Amy Zara (@amyzara3) September 30, 2017
#xfactor Alisah cried like a spoilt child and got a second chance... maybe everyone should do that next year...— Zara Rose (@zararose15) September 30, 2017
So far tonight X Factor has taught that being nasty (Jodie) and throwing a strop(Alisah) are great ways to success. 🤷 #XFactor #xfbootcamp— Rebecca Bayes (@Becky_Elise) September 30, 2017
that alisah girl shouldnt have gotten through just because she started crying on her knees on the stage🙄 #XFactor— erin🎈 [team💯] (@carpoolbieber) September 30, 2017
So apparent Alisah Bonaobra just begged her way through the next round. #Xfactor— Tristanito (@Tristanified) September 30, 2017
Good on alisah for fighting for her place. She is definitely one of the best this year #xfactor— Karen Bradshaw (@ryansladyB) September 30, 2017
Thankfully Simon changed his mind about @alisah_tvoph, you can't deny and leave talent out like that #XFactor #XFbootcamp— MR SUPERPIDGE (@superpidge) September 30, 2017
