Winwyn Marquez, the first Pinay to join Reina Hispanoamericana

Actress Winwyn  Marquez will be the very first Filipina to compete in the Reina Hispanoamericana pageant in Bolivia on November 2017. In a short video posted in Reina Hispanoamericana Facebook, Teresita Ssen Marquez her true name confidently walked along the historical place in Manila.

Winwyn who is a model, dancer, and teacher expressed her happiness on representing the country on such pageant.

Following to her victory last month, Marquez said she would do her best to make the whole nation proud despite the little time that she has to prepare for the competition.

“I’m just happy kasi I’m going to be the first Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas candidate, first ever Filipina to compete sa Bolivia. I’m going to fly, I think, end of October. I’m pretty nervous but it’s good na rin na malapit na siya kasi yung momentum ko nandoon pa rin. But I’m still going to train,” she said.

Winwyn is the daughter of actor-politician Joey Marquez and actress-politician Alma Moreno.
