A Filipino and 4 of his daughters were killed in a car accident in Delaware, after a week-long trip for the Trinidad family. Danna, 17, Kaitlyn, 20, and two youngest, 13-year-old twins Melissa and Allison were all died on the spot.
The family's vehicle was traversing the Delaware Highway 1 on Friday when a pick-up truck crossed the road traveling in the wrong direction hit them, according to the report.
The 53-year-old mother Mary Rose Ballocanag reportedly survived the said tragedy.Hundreds of mourners have lighted candles and left flowers at the Votee Park in Teaneck, New Jersey to show their support to the family.
Passersby have tried to attempt to save the occupants of the battered van, but it was too late. All four daughters died in the back of the vehicle.
People closed to the family had set up GoFundMe account that had raised more than $161,020 as of the posting.
Ballocanag who came from Mindoro province has yet to decide on funeral arrangements for her husband and daughters.
