Look: Airline mechanic steals plane from the airport, is chased by F-15 jets and then crashes in wooden area

A suicidal airline mechanic took unauthorized flight, the stolen empty passenger aircraft performed a dangerous maneuvers in the sky.

Two military F-15 fighter jets were scrambled to chase the stolen plane. The video was taken by a bystander showing the plane flying upside-down loop. Authorities identified as 29-year-old resident of Pierce County in Washington state. The plane was stolen at around 8PM and 90 minutes later it crashes into the wooden area, officials said.

Harrowing audio revealed the pilot joking with the controllers who begged him to land the 76-seater plane before it nosedived and burst into a fireball 25 miles away, The Sun reported. Also, in the chilling record, he revealed he was a "broken man" and apologized to the air traffic controller.

Alaska Airline said that the regular operations of he Horizon Air immediately resumed after the incident.
