#RespectAriana: Bishop apologises after groping Ariana Grande at Aretha Franlin's funeral

A bishop who officiated Aretha Franklin's funeral was criticised for touching the singer Ariana Grande on stage.

In an interview by Associated Press, Bishop Charles H Ellis III said it was never his intention to make Grande feel uncomfortable or touch her breast. In an images that surface online showed Ellis's hand holding Grande but it seems above her waist. Bishop Ellis was also criticized for disrespecting Ariana in the middle of the crowed when he said he originally thought Grande's name was an item on a Taco Bell menu.

The bishop later apologised saying sorry for making a joke about her name.

The bishop said: "It would never be my intention to touch any woman's breast... I don't know, I guess I put my arms around her. Maybe I crossed the border, maybe I was too friendly or familiar but, again, I apologise."

The video gone viral within an hours with hashtag #RespectAriana and got trending worldwide.
