6-year-old boy stabs a man to avenge his father

These would be an alarming incident that happened in Valenzuela City, were a very young boy stabs a man to avenge his father. A 6-year-old boy stabbed a 17-year-old guy over the weekend after the victim had involved in a fight with the child's father.

Radio station DZBB reported that the incident happened in Santol Street, in Brgy Village Balangkas in the town of Bilog.

According to DZMM news, the victim and the boy's father, who was drunk at that time had a heated discussion.

The 17-year-old hit the father with bamboo stick, GMA News' Balitambayan reported. In anger and probably wanting to avenge his dad, the child stabbed the victim with a knife.

The victim was rushed to the hospital and is currently recovering, ABS-CBN added. The 6-year-old was brought to the Valenzuela City Child Protection Center for counseling and intervention.
