This adorable object is made out of stone by Japanese artist

Who have thought that this piece of stone has a value, while others rejected it most of the time. This Japanese artist has a wide range of imagination were she gave life to this piece - painted it with this adorable animals which seemed to be realistic.


Akie Nakata from Japan is somehow using another medium, not on a traditional paper, walls or in any flat surface. However, she chooses ordinary stone, which you can see it everywhere and paint it with adorable animals on the surface, were you can hold it with your hands.


Akie has loved collecting stones  since she was a child while walking along the river bank and started his rock painting in 2011. She carefully looked for the natural shapes of each rocks were he can perfectly show his own destined characters. 

"Stones have their own intentions, and I consider my encounters with them as cues...to go ahead and paint what I see on them," she said.

"To me, completing a piece of work is not about how much detail I draw, but whether I feel the life in the stone."
