Ed Sheeran's cancelled concert in Hong Kong, fans to gets refund

Fans are waited for hours in the middle of the rain but the perfect singer wasn't show. Ed Sheeran posted a video on Twitter to asked fans for apology over the cancellation of the show in Hong Kong.


Many fans took to social media about their disappointment over the April 18 cancelled show due to thunderstorm that hit Lantau Island, where the venue of the concert is located.

Sheeran posted on Instagram and assured fans that he would return to the city to fulfill fans request.

"Hong Kong, apologies again for yesterday,"he said. "I promise I will come back and make this up to you before the year ends. In the process of making plans. Love you all, and sorry again x." 

In his separate statement on Twitter, he clarified that his crew had got everything set up for the event but they were told to delay because of the weather, and later announced the cancellation of the show.

However, the no-show prompted concertgoers to raise their outrage online were most of them left standing in the pouring rain.
