Three died after a fire broke out at the engine room of a ferry (Ro-Ro) bound for Dapitan from Cebu City. 60-year-old Danilo Gomez Sr., one-year-old girl Chloe Labising and Orlando Heneral died in the Lite Ferry 16 fire, PCG said.
There at least 174 people on board including 136 passengers and 38 crew members. Only 102 people have been rescued on Wednesday morning while search and rescue operations are on going for the remaining 69 missing.
