Baguio City was hailed as the overall champion of the 2019 Batang Pinoy National Championships, the city of Baguio has successfully defended its crown for this year's event held in Puerto Princesa City.
The young athletes from the country's Summer Capital bagged 61 golds, 45 silvers and 70 bronze medals, where they dominated mostly in combat sports such as taekwondo, judo, muay thai, and wrestling. In Wushu, Baguio city took 12 golds, Muay Thai 10 golds, and they snatched the P3 million cash prize as the overall champion.

Baguio City will took home a total of 175 medals from Batang Pinoy 2019.
Cebu city spot the second place with 36 Gold, 34 Silver, and 35 Bronze. While Davao rounded out the top three with 31 Gold, 30 Silver, and 41 Bronze.
Meanwhile, Laguna Province took the 4th spot in the Batang Pinoy Top 5 winners with 29 gold, 26 silver, and 18 bronze medals. While the fifth place goes to Quezon City with 26 gold, 25 silver, and 23 bronze medals.
