Bacolod City once again named as the country's Top Model city for The Manila Times search on Philippine Model Cities and Municipalities Awards held at the New World Manila Bay Hotel on Wednesday, September 25.

Bacolod was named the grand winner in the Top Philippine Model City Awards, bested 37 shortlisted cities as the most livable city in the country according to The Manila Times.
The City of Smile had first won the award in 2017. This year, dubbed as the Visayas urban hub had won the Business Friendly city as well as the Retirement Haven Award. Mayor Evelio Leonardia, who accepted the awards said, it was a team work along with the city officials is the key for its success.
First Runner-Up goes to General Trias City and Second Runner-Up to Ormoc City.
Meanwhile, Liloan was named Top Philippine Model Municipality, First Runner-Up to Guiginto and Second Runner-Up to the Municipality of Pulilan.
