1. Divine Mercy Shrine
Location: El, Salvador Misamis Oriental 

It is a Catholic monument in El Salvador, Misamis Oriental. The image of divine mercy shows merciful Jesus. This monument desires to let love and mercy flow through one's own heart towards those in need of it. It even symbolises charity, forgiveness and love of God, referred to as the "Fountain of Mercy". 


2. St. Augustine Metropolitan Cathedral, Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro

Location: Near City Hall of Cagayan de Oro City 

It is a Roman Catholic Cathedral located in Cagayan de Oro City. The Church name was dedicated to Saint Augustine, Bishop of Hippo, the ecclesiastical seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro. Cagayan de Oro celebrates the feast day of Saint Augustine-the patron saint of the city every 28th day of August.

7. Aquamarine, Tubajon Nature Park
Location: Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental 

One of the largest aquamarine park, fish sanctuary, 22 hectares mangrove forest and relaxing dip in their soothing water. 

Entrance fee is only Php25 for adults and Php15 (subject to change) for kids before you can enter the park. Cottages ranges from Php300-Php500. 

8. Mapawa Nature Park
Location: Malasag, Cugman

Mapawa Park is a natural heaven. It has an abundance of falls, exquisite view, lush flora and fauna. 

9. Gaston Park 
One of the oldest historical park in Cagayan de Oro. People pass by most of the time as they will go to Cathedral church just beside this park. Right here also, the memorial wall for Sendong victims was built.

17. City Museum of Cagayan de Oro and Heritage Studies 
Who would have thought that this tower like structure is a museum? However, this was used to be a Water Tank Tower way back 1922 but renovated and improved into a museum in 2008. And now it is one of the historical places you can visit in Cagayan de Oro.

18. Macahambus Adventure Park and Cave
This is a historic site for those who would love to have adventures. The lace was the site of the Battle of Macahambus hill in 1900, the first of the few battles won by the Filipino during Philppine-American war. It is a scenic cave which houses a colony of btas. It is equipped with oah and walkable scenic trails. The end of the cave leads to a veranda overlooking the Cagayan river.

The cave’s entrance is flowing water from underground stream. It has a small opening that seems too narrow. If you plan to visit this adventurous cave, you must be equipped with a helmet and water proof objects for yourself including lamp.
