The true essence of Christmas is to show love to each other. But, the practice of giving gifts during Christmas tide will not be lost.
The students in Bukidnon division were overwhelmed as they received an early Christmas presents from the DepEd Division of Bukidnon.
The Deped Bukidnon Division Superintendent, Randolph Tortola created a program 'Handog sa Christmas 3'.
'Handog sa Christmas 3' program was created for all the schools within Bukidnon Elementary Schools. Three schools per district will receive gift items for the students.
The chosen school will receive the following items:
- school supplies
- slippers
- foods
- dress/T-shirts (For Elementary)
The program started last November 7,2019. The program aimed to connect, reconnect with friends and other stakeholders.
In the mechanics:
The children from other schools share gift items to children of the recipients schools.
Teachers and parents can share at least 3 pieces per gift item.
Officials can share at least 3 pieces per gift item.
Stakeholders and partners establishments can share to all.
Last December 2-6, 2019 was their simultaneous gift giving activity in the Division of Bukidnon.
Payad Elementary School, PTAM Elementary School, Sampiano Elementary School and Kalilangan Elementary School were one of the lucky schools who received the presents in the said program.
