At least 14 was killed and several others were injured after a Bek Air plane with 95 passengers and five crew members on board crashed near the city of Almaty in Kazakhstan on Friday shortly after taking off.
According to a report, the plane was heading to Nur-Sultan when it lost altitude after takeoff and broke through a concrete fence before hitting a two-storey building, Kazakhstan’s Civil Aviation Committee said in a statement.

Officials have confirmed that 14 people were killed in the crash, at least 35 others survived with injuries, 22 other are in critical condition.
Based on the photographs shared online, it showed the plane torn into two parts next to a house half-demolished caused by the impact.
Authorities are still finding out the cause and circumstances of the incident, the Civil Aviation committee of the country said in a statement. Meanwhile, all flights using the Fokker 100 aircraft would be temporarily suspended as authorities continue their investigations.
