Michelle Dee ended her Miss World 2019 journey in top 12

Toni-Ann Singh of Jamaica won Miss World 2019 besting 110 candidates from different countries. However, the Philippine beauty queen Michelle Dee was announced as one of the Top 12 semi-finalists but failed to advance in the Top 5.

23-year-old Singh, who is studying Women's Studies and Psychology at Florida State University was crowned by Miss World 2018 Vanessa Ponce of Mexico.

In the Q&A, she spoke confidently when she asked why she should win the crown.

"I represent something special, a generation of women that are pushing forward to change the world. I wouldn't say I'm different from any other woman on this stage but I will say that my passion for women and pouring into them and making sure that they have the same opportunities that I've had is something that sets me apart," Saigh said.

The Top 5 candidates are:

  3. India
  4. Jamaica
  5. France
