A 10-year-old girl with special needs was found lifeless in Tayabas City in Quezon province. Initial reports showed she was repeatedly raped before and after death.
GMA's 24 Oras report said that the body of the child was found on Saturday when she went missing on Thursday.
"Nakita namin na may sign siya na sinakal, tapos may tama siya sa kaliwang mukha na maaring pinukpok siya ng matigas na bagay," said Police Master Sergeant Aurelia Garcela of the Tayabas Child Protective Services as quoted on GMA7 report.
The child was last seen with someone from the community known as "Papa Jun" hours before she went missing.
