Teacher received bunch of banana from student who came always barefoot in school

In some remote mountain side of the Philippines, education is anyday more important than money. For the people in the mountain, education is wealth that no one could ever stole.

There love to teachers assigned to their community are remarkable. Teacher Ryan James Dueñas is one of the few teachers who had experienced this sweet gestures from his student who walked from the far-side of the village and brought him a simple present with a bunch of bananas. 

Many have to walk hours through a difficult roads just to reach the school, but for the teachers despite the hardship they experienced still there job is rewarding.



Teacher Ryan took to social media and shared this amazing story with his student Manuel. He is a young boy who haven't enough money to buy slippers, but little did he know this Manuel has a big heart that is worth sharing.

"After our Prelim Activities and 30-minute Reading Intervention, there was this — this scenario that touches my heart to really appreciate how little act of kindness from your learner creates emotional impact in my facets,” Ryan James Dueñas post read.

This barefoot and shy type Manuel has came to school very late. After he came in teacher Ryan continued with his lessons, but while discussing his topic for the day he saw Manuel feeling disturbed and keep on searching on his bag.

To his surprised Manuel gave him a bunch of bananas, while he couldn't even buy slippers for him. This sweet gestures from the boy has touched not even teacher Ryan but from other people who have seen his post.



“You are the reason why I love to stay for a long time in a mountainous area and why I do my best to ensure that the improvement of our school. A simple act of kindness really matters,” Teacher Ryan happily wrote.

In return to the kid's kind gesture, teacher Ryan decided to gave Manuel a pair of sneakers.

On separate post Ryan said, "Saging (Banana) is not just only a fruit but means more than only a fruit. Saging signifies LIFE itself." Ryan now shared a photo of a ripe fruit.



Quoted of what teacher Ryan said on his separate post, "waiting for the perfect time of SAGING (Banana) becoming rip (Passion), you are expected to reap your success and rewards (with PRAYERS) out from the experiences you've encountered along the way."

" After all of the challenges - ( failures, struggles, discriminations, etc. ) - we have encountered, raw 'SAGING' turns into success," He added.
