How to avail the 5K financial assistance from DOLE

Due to the Enhanced Community Quarantine implemented all over Luzon, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has issued COVID-19 Adjustment Measures Program (CAMP) under the Department Order No. 209 Series of 2020 which offers financial support to affected workers in private companies that have adopted the Flexible Work Arrangement  (FWAS) or temporary closure.

Under DOLE-CAMP, a one-time Financial Assistance equivalent to Php 5,000 shall be provided to affected workers in lump sum, non-conditional, regardless of the employment status. They also have an option to avail of the Employment Facilitation that provides affected workers an access to available job opportunities suitable to their qualifications through job matching, referral and placement services either for local or overseas employment, employment coaching, and labor market information.

Here's how to avail the PHP5,000 financial assistance

1. Your company must submit the following requirements through a COVID-19 Form.

• Company payroll for the month before the implementation of the FWAs or temporary closure

2. Your company must submit the application through DOLE’s email or any DOLE Regional Office or any of its provincial/field offices.

3. DOLE will then evaluate the application within three (3) working days.

4. DOLE will send an email to the company if the application is approved (Notice of Approval) or denied (Notice of Denial).

If approved, DOLE will notify you and will provide you a one-time financial assistance equivalent to PHP 5,000. The concerned DOLE Regional Office will issue the financial support directly to the beneficiary’s payroll account through bank transfer within two (2) weeks upon receipt.
