Before the controversial secret Christian rites of Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli last February 20, 2020, rumors have been circulating online that the twosome will going to get married in Italy.
The highly anticipated big wedding day has sent AshMatt fans into excitement after the couple have exchange vows in a simple and intimate wedding, but full of drama.
In a YouTube video, Matteo itself confirmed that there's no wedding that will take place in Italy. ABS-CBN showbiz correspondent MJ Felipe popped a question to Matteo during the ceremonial turn-over of certificate of designation for the actor and army reservist as a youth ambassador of the National Youth Commission.
Felipe asked Matteo if how was his life now after almost a month of being a family man.
“Okay naman...everything is good. There’s so many blessings like this one. I guess married life is the best part of your life. Thank you very much,” Matteo said.
In a follow-up question by Felipe: “So, I’m guessing na hindi na tuloy ang wedding sa Italy because of the CoVid 19?”
“Wala naman talagang wedding sa Italy,” Matteo added.
