Mayor Eric Africa announced on his Facebook account that a 10-year-old child in Lipa City has been tested positive for COVID-19. The female infant in Brgy. Tipakan si the city's 18th confirmed case contracted by the coronavirus disease.
The mother of the baby is tested negative.
The report came after days after Africa reported that a 23-day-old boy died of the disease and he was the 15th case in the city.
