NBA star Russell Westbrook of Houston Rockets announced that he was tested positive for the COVID-19, Monday.
"I tested positive for Covid-19 prior to my team's departure to Orlando," said Westbrook via social media account. But he assured his fans that there's nothing to worry about his current health status.
"I'm currently feeling well, quarantined, and looking forward to rejoining my teammates when I am cleared. Thank you all for the well wishes and continued support. Please take the virus seriously. Be safe. Mask up. #whynot," He added.
The NBA 2019-2020 season will resume July 30 at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlanda, Florida after it was cut short due to the pandemic.
