A heart-wrenching moment of elderly married couple for 62-years held hand for the final time was captured by nurse in UK. The couple was admitted to the same hospital at Queen's Hospital Burton for different illness, and the final time for them to say goodbye to each other has come.

Josh Wilson, 92, was diagnosed with terminal cancer last month at the same time his wife Marjorie, 88, was being treated at the same hospital in a separate ward. Marjorie was about to discharge in the hospital after recovering, but the nurse Emma realized that they may never get a chance to see each other again, so she decided to pull their beds and placed them together on the same ward, so they could say goodbye to each other for the last time.
Emma, who arranged this for the couple said, “I can’t even imagine what it’s like to be married to someone for more than 60 years and know that you’re never going to see them again.
“The picture had everyone crying when they saw it – it was very emotional and powerful. To hear how happy the family were after receiving this picture has really impacted us all and the letter that they sent was so lovely”

A photo of the couple holding each others hand was taken and sent to the family.
Recently, Josh and Marjorie son's Kurt was able to sent letter to the hospital, thanking the hospital staff for all the 'care and attention' they gave to his parents - informing them that he died on June 15, 2020.
"He died how he wanted to, at home, peacefully and in my arms."

"A special thank you to sister Emma who had the foresight to take a photo of mum and dad together for the last time. Again words are not enough to express my gratitude to you all," the letter read.
