Kapamilya celebrity Sarah Geronimo broke her silence on the ABS-CBN shutdown issue. Geronimo took to her social media account on Sunday, July 19 and shared a Biblical verse together with her message to give ABS-CBN a chance for franchise renewal.
Geronimo shared two verses from the Bible: "Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murdered, and you know that no murdere has eternal life residing in him. This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters," from 1 John 3:15-16
"Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy," Pro 31:8-4.
Meanwhile on her separate message, Geronimo expressed her gratitude to her network and appeals to Congress for a second chance.
