A concerned citizen exposed to social media the scheme of a printing shop in Quezon City, allegedly producing fake medical certificates of COVID-19 results.
According to a concerned netizen named Laine Sy which was interviewed by Mariz Umali on 24 Oras, she went to a printing shop for their printing service when she discovered an illegal activity while waiting in line.

To her surprised she saw the shop employee changing the name in a scanned rapid test result document.
“Nakita ko unang una, caps lock, ‘Negative.’ So binasa ko po siya, COVID. Ta’s nakita ko po pinapalitan po ‘yung name no’ng nasa result po,” she said.
“No’ng pinrint na po ‘yun nakita ko ‘yung mismong original copy, iba ‘yung pangalan na nando’n sa nando’n sa may screen. Aware po ako na hindi puwede mag-print ang kahit sino ng gano’n e,” Sy added.
Then the viral post has come to the attention of authorities, Quezon City Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) raided the printing shop in an entrapment operation at Brgy. Pasong Putik.
Authorities also learned that the establishment did not have a business permit while operating for almost a year.
