You may now change the way you open things using your mouth after reading this story. Joy Diaz Austero shared a horrifying experienced with her mom which she posted on her Facebook account to warn everyone not to open any plastic packaging using their mouth.
She narrated on her story that her mother once opened a biscuit wrapped with plastic using her mouth, when she accidentally swallowed a tiny piece. Her mom tried to release the tiny piece that lodged somewhere in between but unfortunately she failed until she suffered breathing difficulty.
Austero's family decided to rushed her to the emergency room of the first hospital but they referred to another hospital as EENT doctor wasn't available. The doctor examined her mother but they couldn't find anything, the doctor found a wound somewhere in her throat.

They leave the hospital and the doctor told them to observe their mother if she will feel breathing difficulty then that's the time they will refer her to a Pulmonology doctor. The doctor explained that the tiny piece of plastic would only have two possible place to lodge, through a canal where it can be excreted through faeces or in the lungs.
Almost a week when her mother suffered a breathing difficulty and they send her back again to the doctor for follow-up check up. Then after further investigations, the doctor finally found the tiny plastic that she ingested into her right lung that caused her breathing difficulty. Her mother have undergone "Bronchoscopy" procedure.
