A falling meteor was spotted and lit up the night skies over western Japan. The dazzling fireball display was visible for just few seconds in the early hours on Sunday, November 30.
Japan's TV broadcast 'NHK' published a compilation of massive fireball compilation on Twitter with different perspective of the rare spectacle.
IN THE NEWS: A fireball (exceptionally bright meteor) was observed in the sky above Western and Central Japan at 1:34 AM JST (12:34 AM PhST) yesterday. According to some witnesses, the ending flash was “as bright as the Full Moon."

The fireball is supposed to be a bolide, a particularly bright meteor, which is also known as a fireball or fireball. Meteors are caused by the penetration of meteorites into the earth’s atmosphere, according to astronomers.
